What has ‘empowered’ you to become a social worker?: The drive to help the elderly population voice their needs and desires in their life.  I love that I am to advocate for them so that they may continue to engage and grow while receiving the best care. 

As we celebrate Social Work Month, what message or advice would you like to share with the community about the importance of social work in long-term care?: Social Workers are the voices for your loved ones as they begin a new chapter in their lives.  Social Workers help maintain residents independence and dignity while still enjoying their life to the fullest extent possible.
