Pedro came to West Liberty Nursing & Rehabilitation following a serious motor vehicle accident with a goal of rebuilding his strength, independence, and confidence. At just 19 years old, he faced a challenging recovery journey that included extensive wound care, Physical Therapy, and Occupational Therapy.

Throughout his stay, Pedro approached every challenge with determination and resilience. He worked tirelessly toward his goals, making steady progress as he regained strength, improved his independence, and prepared for a successful return home. His positive attitude and strong work ethic were evident every step of the way.

Beyond his accomplishments in rehabilitation, Pedro became a valued member of our community. His kindness, perseverance, and bright spirit made a lasting impact on both our residents and care team.

Ms. Pelfrey joined our community in need of short‑term rehabilitation services, and from the very beginning, she approached her recovery with determination and a positive spirit. With support from our dedicated interdisciplinary team, she worked hard each day to progress toward her goals.
